Zyx R50 Bloom 3

The Zyx R50 Bloom 3 is a Japanese built MC cartridge in the audiophile part of the range. Its low 0.24 mV output requires a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The Fine Line stylus tracks from 1.7 to 2.5 g with 2.0 g nominal. The stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond calls for professional retipping.

Additional Info

The Zyx R50 Bloom 3 delivers a highly detailed, naturally textured midrange with vocals that sit forward and organic, framed by a wide, precisely layered soundstage. Bass stays lean but controlled rather than plush, keeping the picture clean and composed on well-set-up systems. Its Fine Line profile favors acoustic, jazz and vocal material. The stylus is integrated, so retipping is the only path once worn.
