Zyx R-100 Yatra

The Zyx R-100 Yatra is hand built in Japan for the high end class. Its low 0.24 mV output requires a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The MicroRidge stylus tracks from 1.7 to 2.5 g with 2.0 g nominal. The stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond calls for professional retipping.

Additional Info

The Zyx R-100 Yatra is precise and airy. Its MicroRidge tip on a boron cantilever pulls out fine detail and pinpoint imaging, while tight groove control keeps bass dense and well-defined, and the REAL STEREO generator lends dynamics a lively, uncompressed feel with natural vocals. Jazz, acoustic and classical on resolving systems suit it best. The Yatra version adds a ground point for a quieter background, and the integrated stylus means retip-only service.
