The Tenorel T-2001 SD sits in the mid range of MM cartridges with an advanced stylus cut. Its 5.5 mV output suits any standard MM phono input. The Shibata stylus tracks across a 1.0 to 3.0 g window. The replaceable stylus is the N2001SD, and Phono Culture lists 2 compatible replacement styli.

The Tenorel T-2001 SD leans forward on detail and imaging, giving vocals a natural, airy presence and a well-layered stage while staying gently forgiving on lesser pressings. Controlled dynamics and decent noise suppression keep bass reasonably tight rather than thick, suiting acoustic, jazz and vocal material on modest to mid systems. The Shibata-ground stylus is user-replaceable, and the model also surfaces under Unitra MF-100, MF-102 and Garrard 630-S names.
