Tedeska DST201 LS

The Tedeska DST201 LS continues the German workshop's hand built line at the high end. Its low 0.3 mV output requires a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The Line Contact stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond means a retip. The rated tracking force range deserves a check against the maker's documentation.

Additional Info

The Tedeska DST201 LS, also listed as the Sylphide-L, resolves fine inner-groove detail over an unusually settled, low-noise background. Quiet passages breathe without grain, imaging stays anchored yet spacious, bass carries real density free of bloom, and vocals keep a natural voice. Acoustic, jazz and orchestral systems that prize control and texture reward it fully. The Line Contact stylus is integrated, so wear leads to a retip.
