Technics EPC-100C Mk4
The Technics EPC-100C Mk4 crowns the flagship EPC-100 line at the high end. Its 1.2 mV output runs unusually low for MM, so the phono stage needs gain in reserve. The MicroRidge stylus rides the groove at a light 1.0 to 1.5 g with 1.25 g nominal. The replaceable stylus carries the EPS-100ED4 designation in the catalogue.

Its boron cantilever paired with MicroRidge tracing delivers crisp micro-detail and stable, well-anchored imaging, while vocals retain natural, unforced timbre. Controlled, reasonably dense bass suits jazz, classical and acoustic material on resolving systems. The stylus is replaceable, and collectors prize the EPS-100ED4 insert.
