Stanton Groovemaster II RM
The Stanton Groovemaster II RM was built for radio stations and hard daily duty. This MM cartridge pairs an elliptical stylus with a high 7 mV output for any standard MM phono input. Tracking force is allowed from 2.0 to 5.0 g. The replaceable stylus is the G-II-RM, and Phono Culture lists 2 compatible replacement styli.
The Stanton Groovemaster II RM is built for real-world listening rather than clinical scrutiny, smoothing over surface noise and tracking mishaps on well-loved records and DJ setups alike. Bass comes across dense and punchy, vocals stay natural and full-bodied, and dynamics swing without ever turning harsh. Rock, hip-hop and turntablism where drive matters more than forensic detail suit it best. The elliptical stylus is replaceable, stocked as the G-II-RM.
