The Stanton Epoch II HZ8S crowned the American maker's audiophile efforts. This MM cartridge pairs a Line Contact stylus with a 4 mV output for any standard MM phono input. Its light 0.75 to 1.25 g tracking force with 1.0 g nominal is gentle on records. The replaceable stylus is the E8S, and Phono Culture lists one compatible replacement.
