Sanyo MG-35V
The Sanyo MG-35V was made by the Japanese brand for entry level mass market turntables. This MM cartridge with a conical stylus works into a standard MM phono input. Rated tracking force is specified at 2.5 g. The replaceable stylus is the ST-35VD, and Phono Culture lists 2 compatible replacement styli.
The Sanyo MG-35V leans forgiving and easygoing rather than analytical. Its soft-edged character keeps the mid-band warm and natural, favoring vocals over microscopic detail, while bass stays modest and rounded with loosely defined imaging. Relaxed listening on modest tables suits it far better than critical resolving systems. The conical tip tracks gently, and the ST-35VD stylus is replaceable.
