Roksan Shiraz
The Roksan Shiraz crowns the British maker's range at the high end. Its 1.05 mV output asks for a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The Fritz Gyger stylus tracks from 2.2 to 2.5 g with 2.4 g nominal. The stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond goes out for retipping.

The Roksan Shiraz pairs an airy, extended top end with a natural, warm midrange, letting vocals sit forward without edge. Its aluminium cantilever and Gyger II Super Fine-line tip trace fine detail while keeping dynamics lively and the stage wide and stable. Acoustic, jazz and vocal records on resolving systems reward it most. The stylus is integrated, so once worn only a retip is possible.
