Roksan Corus Black
The Roksan Corus Black is an audiophile grade MM cartridge fitted with a Fine Line stylus profile. Its output of 6.5 mV drives any standard MM phono input without extra gain. Rated tracking force runs from 1.8 to 2.2 grams. The replaceable stylus carries the name Corus Black (Gyger II), and Phono Culture lists three compatible replacement styli for this model.
The Roksan Corus Black delivers a controlled, articulate presentation where detail and imaging work in tandem, so instruments hold their own space without the sound turning clinical. The Fine Line tip resolves inner-groove complexity cleanly, vocal timbre stays honest rather than analytical, and bass keeps reasonably dense. Lively dynamics favor jazz and acoustic material on resolving systems. The stylus is replaceable, so the Gyger II profile can be renewed.
