Rega RB100
The Rega RB100 was made by the British brand as an MM cartridge with a nude elliptical stylus. By generator type it works into a standard MM phono input. Full period specifications have not survived in open sources, so this card keeps to confirmed data. The stylus is fixed, so a worn cartridge goes back for service.
The Rega RB100 dates to 1985 and was built by Goldring for Rega's original arm. Its nude elliptical tip favors natural, warm vocals over forensic detail, lively dynamics keep rock and jazz energetic without turning clinical, and the intimate soundstage sits over full-bodied bass. Modest systems seeking easy, musical listening fit it best. The stylus is integrated, so when worn only a retip is possible.
