Nagaoka JT-322
The Nagaoka JT-322 has settled into the ranks of collectible Japanese MM designs. Its 2.5 mV output suits any standard MM phono input. The Shibata stylus tracks from 1.2 to 2.0 g with 1.5 g nominal. The replaceable stylus is the JN-322, and Phono Culture lists 2 compatible replacement styli.

The Nagaoka JT-322 was originally built for 4-channel CD-4 discrete quad playback, and that heritage shows. Sharp, airy detail retrieval pairs with wide, precise imaging and quick dynamic snap, vocals stay natural and bass keeps taut rather than heavy. The transparent, energetic presentation rewards careful setup on quieter systems with jazz, acoustic and classic rock. The Shibata stylus is replaceable as the JN-322.
