Lyra Clavis
The Lyra Clavis ranks among the early classics of the Japanese high end workshop. Its low 0.25 mV output requires a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The Line Contact stylus tracks between 1.8 and 2.0 g by specification. The stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond means a retip.

The Lyra Clavis is a precise, revealing MC with a dense, controlled low end and natural vocal presence rather than clinical detachment. Line Contact tracking on a Ceralloy cantilever yields tight image focus and quiet backgrounds for acoustic, jazz and orchestral material on resolving systems. Also known as The Clavis, it uses an integrated stylus, so wear leads to retipping.
