Additional Info

The Goldring 1042 from the 1000 Series is a natural, forgiving MM whose refined Fritz Gyger tip pulls fine detail without turning aggressive on rough pressings. Vocals sound smooth and textured, imaging stays stable and airy, and controlled rather than heavy bass suits warmer systems. Long sessions with jazz, vocal and acoustic records reward it. The stylus is user-replaceable as the D42.
