Fidelity Research FR-7
The Fidelity Research FR-7 crowns the legendary Japanese marque's range at the high end. Its low 0.2 mV output requires a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The Line Contact stylus tracks from 2.0 to 2.5 g with 2.0 g nominal. The stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond goes out for retipping.

The stylus is integrated with retip-only service, and internal unit exchange up to the FR-7f upgrade is supported.
