[Test Note] Check Empire 2000E/III on my setup
EMT XSD 15 SFL
The EMT XSD 15 SFL continues the German marque's studio classics at the high end. Its 1.05 mV output asks for a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The Fine Line stylus runs at a rated tracking force of 2.5 g. The stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond means a retip.
The EMT XSD 15 SFL refines the XSD line with a Super Fine Line diamond on an aluminum cantilever. Groove control is tight and noise stays low, so detail retrieval runs deep while vocals remain natural and layered over stable imaging. Firm, controlled bass suits classical, jazz and acoustic material on transparent systems. The stylus is integrated, so once worn only a retip is possible.
