EMT TSD-15

The EMT TSD-15 spent decades as the studio standard of the legendary German marque. Its 0.9 mV output asks for a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The conical stylus tracks from 2.0 to 3.0 g with 2.5 g nominal. The stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond means a retip.

Additional Info

The EMT TSD-15 is warm, natural and unmistakably musical. The alloy cantilever with a conical tip favors rich, densely bodied bass and honestly rendered vocals over microscopic detail, telling the story of the music rather than dissecting it. Stable imaging and a forgiving nature flatter jazz, orchestral and vocal records on warmer systems. The stylus is integrated, so wear means a retip.
