Benz-Micro Ace LS3

The Benz-Micro Ace LS3 belongs to the Swiss Ace line in the upper mid range. Its low 0.4 mV output requires a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The MicroRidge stylus tracks between 1.6 and 1.9 g by specification. The stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond goes out for retipping.

Additional Info

The Benz-Micro Ace LS3 is the low-output member of the ACE series. MicroRidge tracing pulls fine detail from the groove over a controlled, quiet background, letting subtle dynamics breathe while imaging holds stable and focused. Vocals sound natural rather than etched, suiting acoustic, jazz and classical listening on resolving MC chains. The stylus is integrated, with retipping the sole remedy for wear.
