Benz-Micro Ace H

The Benz-Micro Ace H comes from the Swiss workshop as a high output MC design in the audiophile class. Its 2.5 mV output drives a standard MM phono input without extra gain. The Fritz Gyger stylus tracks from 1.7 to 1.8 g with 1.8 g nominal. The stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond calls for retipping.

Additional Info

The Benz-Micro Ace H is refined yet richly detailed. Its boron cantilever and Fritz Gyger tip dig out fine inner texture while keeping vocals natural and unforced, never clinical, and precise imaging pairs with quick, controlled dynamics over a low-grain background. Vocal jazz, chamber and acoustic material on resolving, well-matched tonearms suit it best. The stylus is integrated, so only a retip cures wear.
