The Audio-Technica AT-ART9Xi carries the flagship ART line into the high end class. Its low 0.5 mV output needs a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The Fine Line stylus tracks from 1.6 to 2.0 g with 1.8 g nominal. The stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond means professional retipping.
