[Test Note] Check Empire 2000E/III on my setup
Audio-Technica AT-14Ea
The Audio-Technica AT-14Ea is an MM cartridge with an elliptical stylus profile and a 5 mV output level, so it feeds any standard MM phono input without extra gain. Its rated tracking force spans 1.0 to 2.0 g with a nominal setting of 1.8 g. The stylus assembly is user replaceable and carries the designation ATN-14Ea. Phono Culture lists two compatible replacement styli for this model.
The Audio-Technica AT-14Ea leans toward a smooth, easygoing presentation rather than clinical precision. Vocals come across natural and well-textured, imaging stays stable with a tidy sense of scene, and surface noise tucks away nicely for long sessions across genres. Also marked as the AT-14Ea/G, it uses a user-replaceable elliptical stylus, so ownership stays simple.
