Air Tight PC-1

The Air Tight PC-1 comes from the Japanese maker famous for its high end tube gear. Its low 0.5 mV output requires a dedicated MC phono input or a step up transformer. The Line Contact stylus tracks between 1.9 and 2.2 g by specification. The stylus is integrated, so a worn diamond calls for retipping.

Additional Info

The Air Tight PC-1 is extraordinarily revealing and precise. Its boron cantilever paired with a Line Contact stylus tracks micro-detail with startling speed and low-noise clarity, rendering vocals with striking naturalness inside a tightly focused, three-dimensional stage. Bass stays controlled and well-defined rather than lush, and clean recordings on premium electronics get rewarded most. The stylus is integrated, so only retipping is possible when worn.
