ADC Q321

The ADC Q321 opens the American IM lineup at the entry level. Its 4.5 mV output feeds any standard MM phono input. The elliptical stylus tracks from 1.0 to 2.0 g by specification. The replaceable stylus is the R-Q32, and Phono Culture lists one compatible replacement for this model.

Additional Info

The ADC Q321 offers a rounded, forgiving presentation that leans into vocal warmth rather than pinpoint detail, smoothing over groove wear and softening sibilance for an easy, fatigue-free listen. Bass stays modest in density and imaging paints broadly rather than sharply etched. Relaxed vocal jazz, folk and older pressings on modest systems suit it more than hi-fi scrutiny. The elliptical stylus is replaceable when worn.
